i called singtel twice.... both different call agent told me that they were not inform about "note 8 wifi issue" or "did they know that this is a known issue between note 8 and sintel router."

OK thanks. Somehow I keep reading that the update was supposed to have been released already. Or I misread. :s22:

no you didn't, i think one of the posts i wrote mistakenly portrayed note 8 as having the latest update to address wifi issue, and I was told that 16th June was originally scheduled for s8 and note 8, but only s8's one made it online while note 8 was postponed, hence the confusion.

Note 8 will come this weekend, either friday or saturday. Sunday release is a bit unlike the usually routine pattern of samsung.

just got those high 5 usb port with qc3.0 charger thing, but i heard n read online qc3.0 does kill battery life very very fast.. is it just a myth?

it is a myth. once battery reach 80%, the charging speed will slow down

Updated mine this morning. Bumped up to June security patch level. Wifi speed very good with my Asus router on 5Ghz band.
