when i tried it says the following

Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later.

What a disappointment samsung.

Usually teloco s3 sets will have to wait 1-2 days before they get update

this update purely for the battery drain improvement and some minor bugs and nothing much changes in term of interface and settings...

This update made your draining fastest.

I'm not observing any significant difference in battery drain. Yours could be an isolated case.
