hi gaiz. what rom/kernel is for optimizing speed? my galaxy note's pretty laggy. might be because of the home screen tiles ![]() halp pl0xxx. i see my friend's SGSII smooth like siaoz, regret getting note ![]() Last edited by Me Shiat Brix; 04-02-2012 at 04:08 PM.. |

Have you tried removing apps you've installed?! Most of us actually never have any major lag issues here.

yup but im thinking it might be because of the home screen tiles. is note really unable to run smoothly just because of that -> is my question. i thought its one of the fastest android devices in the market already.
my home screen is like that: X2K2′s Tiles Icons for Android | xda-developers ps: its not massive lag but just delays and not that smooth. using stock rom and everything, wondering if rooting and use a custom rom and kernel will help? Last edited by Me Shiat Brix; 04-02-2012 at 05:18 PM.. |

What launcher are you using? And usually where and when do you experience lag?

I have not experienced any lag so far on my note. Using stock rom. I find that it is speedier than my galaxy s2..

I have not experienced any lag so far on my note. Using stock rom. I find that it is speedier than my galaxy s2.. ![]() ![]() Using normal transition? Some transitions are not as smooth. |

Those who flash to Custom ROM.
What ROM you using? Mine use RocketROM and KingDroid still have issue. The other party hard to hear me cause my voice breaking up ![]()

Hmm.. Is your friend's S2 on a similar setup? Or try launcher pro and see if it's snappier. just tried and its even worse ![]() |

actually nvm, i guess no android devices for now can scroll through so many hd images smoothly
