Have you tried removing apps you've installed?! Most of us actually never have any major lag issues here.

yup but im thinking it might be because of the home screen tiles. is note really unable to run smoothly just because of that -> is my question. i thought its one of the fastest android devices in the market already.

my home screen is like that: X2K2′s Tiles Icons for Android | xda-developers

ps: its not massive lag but just delays and not that smooth. using stock rom and everything, wondering if rooting and use a custom rom and kernel will help?

I have not experienced any lag so far on my note. Using stock rom. I find that it is speedier than my galaxy s2..

Using normal transition? Some transitions are not as smooth.

What ROM you using?

Mine use RocketROM and KingDroid still have issue.
The other party hard to hear me cause my voice breaking up

Hmm.. Is your friend's S2 on a similar setup? Or try launcher pro and see if it's snappier.

Look for cf-root for your kernel at the xda developers thread. Flash via mobile ODIN or follow instructions in the thread.

That should not be the case for Note. However, you may have other things taking up the CPU/GPU workload.

Using a third party launcher in itself, is a heavy burden already.
