Interesting things to note

• The charger is not 700mA like the one supplied with the Galaxy S2, the Note comes with a 1A charger.
• The Note came with KJ3 firmware, and I upgraded to KK1 via OTA immediately after connecting to wifi
• The stylus feels like nothing in my hands. Seriously.

Tiny Review

• Build quality = Fantastic in my hands
• Battery life no comment yet
• Phone screen is great if you don't put your eyeball on the screen literally
• So far everything is very snappy, but I will need more time

My thoughts on the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note
You can't really compare both phones. The S2 is for the mass consumers and it fits a lot of the criterias for a typical phone. Not the Note. It's in its own category, something not seen the past few years. Yes, there was that Dell 5" phone, but it just didn't have the computing power, the resolution and functionality to make it stand out.

The S2 is what I would call your typical phone. It's for those who want a real phone. Something they can use with one hand to call their friend, type a SMS/Whatsapp message, check their email or play the occasional game. The size and shape is fantastic despite what people believe. I never really had a lot of problems using it with one hand. It's a fantastic device, the screen never disappoints, but in the end, it's just a really nice phone and that's all there is to it.

Enter the Note. It comes with one of the highest resolution available on an Android device (1280x800), powered by dual 1.4ghz cores, comes with a huge and brilliant 5.3" screen, a slim form for its size, a huge 2500mah battery and the superb stylus based on Wacom's superb inductive technology. This is what I would consider a phone for enthuiasts out there who want the best technology can provide.

The Note is for those who want to use their phone like an organizer, something to take notes, and to draw/sketch art or technical stuff. I would say it's for anybody who uses their phone like an organizer more than a phone. Some may comment and say that the stylus is a throwback to the dark resistive age, but I fully disagree. The Note is functional and extremely useable even without the stylus. And this is where the stylus really shines. It's like a tool to further enhance your productivity, allowing you to do things not possible with crappy resistive styluses, or huge tipped capacitive styluses. Whatever you have written will be as accurate Wacom's technology can achieve.

Is the Note for everyone? Definitely not. It's big, a little on the heavy side, and the screen is definitely not 1 handed friendly. But if you are like me and do not use your phone much as a phone, this will be one of the best phone you can get your hands on.

Thanks for the tip on the charger - i had wanted to charge with the SGS2's charger but didn't in the end

It will work, but the only problem is it will take an extra hour because it's only at 700mAH.

The other thread its close so have to ask here, can the s2 battery be user on the note as well? Which shop sell cheaper at far east? Since telco is delay,I don't wait already.gonna hoot tonight

Can, but you need to DIY pieces of paper, blutak or whatever to fill up the empty space. If your phone explodes don't pin it on me though, just sayin' what I saw via a Youtube video.
