the fingerprint sensor behind is not a good design. But for faceid it's more weird to do kind of selfie every time to unlock the phone
Using Note 8. It's actually not that bad in daily use.

Glass in general very prone to crack. Let’s go back to plastics.

Unfortunately, it would not be tenable for Samsung to do so.

If they reverted to plastic, every review will start saying how "premium" the iPhone feels vs Samsung, how "cheap" Samsung's flagship is... bla bla bla. Nobody will credit the plastic phone with being more durable; at most it'll be a side comment.

First Impressions are everything, no buyer is going to think that he or she will drop a glass-backed phone. Those with butter fingers will just get a tough case for the glass back.

Samsung is smart to stick to glass backs. Even Apple has now copied Samsung in using glass instead of metal for its flagship phones!

Glass material is used cos of wireless charging, and its premium feel.

Deathst is trying to insinuate that if users cannot take care of glass phones, then go back to plastic phones lor.. HAHAS
