Samsung S3 - front camera blur/does not focus

Hi, Got my blue S3 fm Starhub. Discovered front facing camera is very blur, uusual blur. Sort of de-focus (I knew front camera dun have auto-focus ... just to describe the problem)

It is most evident when using the generic camera software, as I compare side-by-side with another S3 on the same object.

Checked both S3 the camera settings are same. Anyone can pointer what is the issue ?

Are u using a screen protector?
If yes, is the camera covered by the protector?

Scr protector is those "not full scr type", even peel off the portion near the front camera to make sure the camera is not de-focus (even though front camera is not auto-focus) ....

Any expert, any advice ?

Brought to Toh Guan Svc Cntr. They affirm is hardware issue need to replace the front camera :

1. New phone,<half mth cannot replace new set ?
- Customer experience will be skyhigh if a new set is replaced plus the time frame is reasonable
- also my new phone gets opened up, no longer pristine, customer definitely feel shortchange becos it is QC issue.

Advice to S3 potential customer: pls check 2/3 times before you leave with the phone.

2. Was forecasted more then 20 days to replace hardware. On Replacement phone > after escalating also dun have. After negotiating, they settle for express service, 2 hrs, come back and collect.

Customer Service could have been better. It helps to sell another 10000 qty.

3. Now wait for collection experience.

The process is amicable, tis post is also not complain. Hope it helps for improvement.
