Following Vijay's article here:

http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles...67&cid=18&pg=2

Few weeks back, a guy came to my office to peddle a Digital Pen which could copy notes which you write, without a computer, then later you could download into a computer. Ahhhhh... been there done that I thought. I figured that I'll give the guy 15 minutes then kick him out. Turned out I spent 3 hours plus handshake for distribution in Singapore.

It's magic. Magic and sufficiently high technology is indistinguishable. This is one of the cases. For years i have never been excited, not even by the iphone. This one is getting me all hot.

This product syncs VOICE with what you write, all on a timeline. That means, what you wrote, exactly what was being said at that time, it plays back to you like in a movie camera trained on your writing pad, but recording the sound around you. Then later, you just point on the part of the paper (or on the image downloaded into your computer) and voice comes out, the stuff which was being spoken at the time you wrote.

Which is just perfect for lectures, minutes of meeting. Never miss a word.

The Pulse Smartpen is the only device has the ability to sync voice and exact writing, is the magic no other product does yet. And what you downloaded into the computer (via USB) is also searchable - it recognizes the writing!

Go google for PULSE SMARTPEN and see the world's reaction. LIKE MINE! I showed this to some serious geeks, they a good track record on new gizmos which do great, and I showed this to some gizmo reporters who sees gizmos by the dozens. ALL THREE OF THEM WERE BLOWN AWAY.

OK enough words. Here's the magic on video, please check it out.

This video shows you what it can do, in a friendly way:

This is how animated students will react to it:

This is a video of a demonstrator giving a live demonstration of the pen in a Demo show in USA:

Here is Gizmodo raving about it, in words:

Wondering how it works??? here's the technical explanation:

Here's some examples on its implementation for mass distribution over the web, all documents simply made by the Smartpen:
