Today, bought a NEC lappie at $1199. To me, one of best value to money.
Dun believe..look at the spec.....

NEC E6300-2011DRC (silver+white leather on top)
- T7250 (2GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
- Vitsa Home basic
- 3GB DDR2
- 160GB HDD
- 1GB Intel turbo memory
- DVD super multi (double layer)
- Bluetooth, 802.11 a/b/g/n, IEEE1394, 2MP Webcam, card reader

hahaha nice... i bought the 13" Versa S3300-2013DRC instead at $1399 simply becos of its size and weight of 1.9kg

same specs as yours except mine runs Vista Home Premium, and of cos the size and weight, but for only 200 more, hell it's awesome

let see whether the price will drop or not. i dont think so for such budget model. sure price drop for those high end model.

S3300 model is great but my sister wanted a 14.1" model...... or else will also buy the 13.3" model.
