this was what we did last dec for family of 14(2 MPV)

we didn't join the packages on the cruise, once you're on shore, there'll be tons of drivers and touts. If you have in mind the places that you want to go, just tell them otherwise they'll bring you guys around also

what we did was visit once place where the elephant. monkey, snake, paintball, real guns, ATV, all very near one. then followed by temple, lunch then go back patong beach walk walk till times up.

elephant ride is around S$30 for ~30mins ride, guns is also around S$30 for 10 bullets. I forgot the MPV pricing cos not I pay

difference with joining package on cruise is you get to go down faster.

I'm planning to go Phuket with my friends during the June hols as well. Checked out zuji.com but still can't decide on which hotel to book. We were planning to book the Hotel Ibis(tight budget), any bros stayed there before?

I read up the info from zuji and it stated that the hotel is situated 500m away from Patong beach and theres shopping and nightspot nearby.
