In between these 2 which would you recommend and why?

btw i am interested in the manual version and was thinking about the pick up speed for both cars. Which of them have a better pick up?

of cause city has the better pick up. One of the best engines for 1.5 if im not wrong?

but cant really compare this two cars also cause of the price difference

For the auto vios is faster thats y i am curious if the city manual would so any better.

To know which one has a better pickup in their stock condt, can look at which has a higher torque. But as they always say, a honda is a honda. I'd pick the vios over è city 09 simply coz of its shapier looks.

Vios only E model has Manual.

interior wise, city is better

fc wise, vios is better. one of my female colleague is driving it and report 12km+ / L. Looking at the way she drives, she is not heavy footed. I getting something like 13+ to 14 for my vios E auto. I getting heavy footed these days

used to get 14-15...

overall built quality, honda wins...

price wise is obvious...

performance wise, sama sama... though the city engine sounds more refine. the vios E engine is noiser coz the soundproofing is not as good as the higher end G version.

think your post pretty much sums up all...

~$10k difference... TS really gotta think whether can swallow pumping out another 10k or not. either way, both are fine cars and i'm sure won't regret getting either one.

the city's ivtec only comes in at a much higher rev to save fuel and therefore not as effective.
I read some reviews of city saying the 120 hp does not seem to be there when they drove it so wondering if its true.

anyways anyone knows wats the cash back promotion of hondas about?
they seem to have a promo price of 60k for the city while the vios current price is 50+

120 horsepower leh... and it is not that heavy lah...
it could be someone had tried a previous version of City vtec.. that y he said that..

i had a previous gen City and once awhile, drive a GE fit...
well...ivtec.. unlike vtec -> u cant feel the 'surge' but its there lah.. just implement it different way (check out TOV to know more about vtec/ivtec)) some said more like vvti.. well... this one leave it to those who drive vios and now on fit/jazz to comment...

anyway u drive a 1500cc car leh... how much power u need... remember -> efficiency plays apart....

if not, go buy a Golf sports version... 1400cc nia... somemore got SC/TC.. song song gao jurong...
