Hi,

Many of us have netbooks w/o DVD Drives. Anyone intend to hoot one of these slim drives?

Lets discuss where to get it cheap! Hopefully below $70

One of the quite good deal is AOpen listed at VRForum at $79

Keen in that too.

I am still using an old DVD-RW burner with my SATA controller.
Would be great to get 1 of those.

CD drive can be replaced with USB drive, it is wasting time and money for buying DVD/CD drive.

I think the cheapest and branded external USB DVD writers would be Buffalo DVSM-PN58U2V @$79. Pls advise if you spot something cheaper. http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/sh....php?t=2492323
