actually im not sure what kinda midfielder anderson is.
Im thinking Rodwell is 1 for the future, and hopefully he will partner anderson. Solid pairing but definitely not a goalscoring midfield though.
Initially, he was brought in as a promising Attacking Midfielder (left footed thus suitable on the left wing as well). Didnt do enough, then he was slotted more into the DMF/CMF role which i believe is due to his robust energy. a little similarity to our past Smudge, no?

Not really? Smudge was a 2nd striker which eventually got converted to an attacking mid. In the end, not enough time and became neither nor there. Partly because we have Scholes as well, which really limited his chances.
