Is it the LiveKernelEvent?
After the shutdown, theres a popup about the problem.
So i wonder if it is it...

OR

is it overheat?
sometime i play games my laptop will heat up to 90 degree or something....

how to solve it?

I think this model has its fair share of auto shutdown problems due to the inefficiiency of the fan, check out the Sony Website, I think they have patches or updates that solves this problem

if it shuts down suddenly, then chances are heat issue.

if it shuts down with a prompt, then probably a virus or driver issue.

Think you need to bring it to the service center ask them to clean the air vent, maybe it's block by dust. or bring it to the sls netbook repair shop and ask them to clean it for you. it should cost about 20 -30 in sls, service center I'm not sure.

I'm using Sony Vaio CS26G and have encounterd the same problems too. I ignored it initially as still able to switch it on after several attempts. But after a while I can't even on it. Brought to service center as still have warranty (only 6 months). They changed the fan as it was over heated. I just bought a cooling pad to put underneath my lappy just in case.

Are yours still under warranty? If yes, better to bring to service center and let them have a look. If not, it might affect the motherboard.

HTH

Any Laptop repair shop can help you clean as they are train to dismantle laptop. Try drop and Fix in lv 4 sls.

If your laptop temperature is this high 90 degree, it's going to be a dead laptop in no time.

probably your fan faulty. 90 degree is still aceptable but any thing above 90 is what we call terrible. And if i am not wrong your laptop shut down automathically due to an automatic function that protect your lappy from erm getting fried.

2 options for you

#1 take out ur back plate and clean the fan and dust off your machine with a blower and dry cloth or brush.

#2 take to someone technically skilled to clean it for you. If not change the fan. I will take the warranty center if i were you.

Another issue is memory failure in which they called the blue screen of death. Hope you dun see it right ?
