Bought for SGD$3200.
Well..i love this laptop alot..great features(e.g Power Gear4/Hot Keys/Stylish Keyboard/Cool exterior) & many many more..
too bad i no $$ to buy the Asus W1 which is launching probably anywhere after august..i heard..

Is $3200 the standard selling price around ? Cause i checked asia.cnet.com it showed $4000+
how is the after sale services of asus laptop?
is there a local service centre here for asus laptop?
how reliable is asus laptop as compared to acer laptop since both of them are from taiwanese maker?
any asus laptop user can comment on this?

their service centre is located in SLS..level 3..
2 yrs int'l warranty..
my laptop have yet to break down..so dun see a need for their after sales services..

their after sales service is not bad. the people who work there are friendly and do their best to help although they run a pretty tight ship. it's quite a trek to the service centre too.
am using an M2400 bought 2 years ago. works great. excellent keyboard but get the odd electric shock now and then. think my set is poorly insulated for some strange reason.
will not part with it if not for fact that i am going overseas and need a new machine (am considering either NC4010 or T41) with good international warranty (which ASUS also has)
