Bro, by reading ur question, I can't fully comprehend ur problem.. U said distance is a problem, y is it a problem? If you're telling me both of u are working in Tuas/Jurong west area, maybe it's a problem.. Or if every other friend/relative/or person u know stays in that area and lan lan have to travel there to find them den dat's a problem.. Even so, Singapore is so small, how long do u need to take to get from the furthest end of Changi to the other end of Tuas? 1 day? No rite?

Anyways, I don't live in Punggol neither will i be moving there, but I believe everyone knows they're gonna develop that area in a few years time.. I think Punggol is not that bad la, might be a next Marine Parade in making.. And it's not too far to city if u take TPE, KPE.. If u drive it's not so bad la..

everyone here say good but your life partner not happy also no point.
the main issue for punggol now is the Price. how much are you going to pay for flat at such location?

if you buying the idea of punggol 21+, go look at those pioneer punggolers that believed in punggol 21 and chiong during the 90s.
dont know when are they going to fulfill the punggol 21+ promise but i think we got to see the Punggol Town Centre where the punggol mrt station situated start developing then got hope.

Buy Sengkang better with more facilities, punggol more expensive with nothing yet.

Your wife works in kovan and claimed distance is a prob? Or she is worried abt u? Going by NEL, only 4 stations away... Anyway best to get a place both of you like. For such a large ticket item, you won't want to come back at the end of day daily, feeling uncomfortable about it.

Kovan is nearby to Punggol ... Distance shud not be a problem if for me, maybe u mite wanna elaborate more by what's ur wifey main concern?

Or else can opt for either Sengkang or Hougang ... tiz 2 places also near to Kovan ...

Punggol is a nice & peaceful place if you have your own transport, if you have your babysitting arrangements nearby. I loved it there but moving away bcos of kids....
