how come your japanese dorama not rmvb wan???

Try brands like onda, ainol. They are the more common ones.

I am using onda 787 myself. Watching japanese doramas in rmvb format. Sometimes will lag abit, no choice but to fastforward and will fix this.

But take note eg for onda 787 even different firmware will have different effects on video playback. Apparently its newer firmware sucks playing videos. I am using the older version de, bought from one of the mo dealer here.

My advice is not really to buy from sls, coz u will notice prices are the same. I suspect coz they are under the same boss...

in all honesty, if you're not particular about the sound quality, you can skip on the cowon o2.

Onda is China brand.
Cowon is like one of the premium pmp out there. And they dont come cheap. By Korea.
Depends on your need and budget, you may go either. Onda is more for rmvb files. Cowon for great firmware and codec support (but no rmvb).

u know, screen size is not all that matters.

There's a lot more to video quality than screen size. There's static and dynamic contrast ratio. There's response time. If it's a touchscreen, there's a difference between capacitive and resistive touchscreens due to different transmission rates. Also the type of screen matters (LCD, AMOLED, etc). Not to mention the number of displayable colours.

i think AMOLED is the way to go now. colours are damn vibrant. you think an ipod looks pretty ? try an S9. if not for the fact that the screen is kinda small, i'd use if all the time..

yep AMOLED is the way. I actually almost went for the iriver clix 2, but warehouse sold it along with a lot of bundled stuff that i wasn't interested in.

Now I've a D2, with an LCD resistive touch screen =\

s9 has AMOLED, uses capacitive touchscreen which has a higher transmission rate. Awesome stuff.
