There is an application in the marketplace 'CLOSE EVERYTHING'. It is supposed to help you close all running applications.

A new G1 user here! So excited. Bought at Bishan $398 with Classic and BBOM plus for 6mths.

A question, what's the [G] icon on top, near the time. Stands for GPRS or 3G or 2G? Should i turn this off to access data?

i just found out you can't install apps in the microsd card. Is this true for the Dream here as well?

I'm not so big on the magic's release, i'm waiting impatiently for the bloody cupcake update which better be available for the G1/Dream.

I mean come on, no bluetooth file transfer, inability to install apps in microsd, etc etc... FIX IT CUPCAKE!

you need root access to install apps on the microsd card.

so far from the looks of the system code from cupcake, there is no indication that it will be available yet. though there are some incremental code change that hinted that it can be implemented in future updates.

hey guys does your phones screen tilt more towards the left when open?

surprisingly didnt notice it until you own a g1/dream. seems like all of them are like this.

2) after i bought this phone, what are the must buy accessories i should get immediately? And where i can find them?

at the notification bar will display the usb icon.

select it and mount it.

and you should be able to transfer files to ur phone. =)

Hi guys, just wondering, is there a way to find out your call log (outgoing call duration and incoming call duration) in the G1? I know chomp sms does sms counters, right, what about calls? Is there a menu option or an app..
