fonera router in S'pore
Got this for free except for the shipping. Already got root access via ssh.

i noticed singapore doesnt have a wide foneros coverage (or any at all).

They ship to certain countries (USA and most Europe countries, Asia has Japan,HK etc) only but I use my VPost account to reship to S'pore.

My set is not the WRT54G though you can flash FON firmware into a WRT54G.

It is a OEM router. Custom Design from FON. Closest cousin is http://www.meraki.net/mini.html

Normally there is a catch for FON as you need to share out the wireless to a mesh to act as Hotspot for others..

I don't know what criteria they use to pick people to give free foneras. Anyway it's not launched in S'pore yet.
