Smile Got it today

Hi,

Just got the hubstation today. Went to buy a wireless modem too not realising that there was a offer to buy a Dlink 300 router for $54. I bought a buffalo wireless G125 at about $70 bucks cos the salesperson said it was good (I'm such loser right listen to salesperson cos orginally wanted to buy dlink). Came back to set it up and it worked perfectly.

Fun time playing with the recording functions. And the connection speed is much faster than my SSNB 512 plan. Will be terminating SSNB tomorrow already.

Spent $400 over today, hubstation plus wireless but thought the savings from terminating the SSNB even if free surflite ends Dec08, it is still worth it.

Hope it's useful info.

IAD stand for Integrated Access Device. IAD is a small box that connects your voice from an analog signal to digital signal. To use IAD, you must have an analog phone which is will be connected to your IAD.

For IAD to Hubstation setup will be

Starhub Cable > Hubstation > *IAD > Telehpone
* you can connect PC to IAD for Internet Connection

or

Starhub Cable > Hubstation > *Broadband Router > IAD > Telehpone
* you can connect PC to Broadband Router for Internet Connection

Hubstation is good for people who wanna watch SH channels as well as free 1M Internet connection, good enough for surfing.
