Defects on Iphone 3G from Singtel

Guys,

Those of you who had just collected your phones from Singtel, have you had any of the following ...

1) Dust under the LCD
2) LCD Light leakage
3) Cracked base ( back )
4) Sratches on the metal bezel

If so, please list down your model type too.

Can the latest iphone owners also feedback on the reception of 3G too!

Many owners in the US are encountering poor 3G receptions, drop calls, lost signals, slow response to the keypads, I need to find out anything like this is happening in singapore before considering buying one here as they are pointing the problem to the infineon chip inside the iphone which is causing all this problem.

Due to this, apple is now being sue for failing to provide acceptable 3G services.

And recently there is a patch for iphone which suppose to resolve this problem but it seems not working at all. There is also talk of mass recall of iphone to replace the affected chips.

Hope someone will be kind enough to give us your frank opinions before I make a buy on this handset which I have been waiting for a year.

3G reception on the north south MRT line while in the train is virtually zero. My old M600i with Opera Mini, running on GPRS, works faster than the iPhone.

so far no issues with 3G. Been surfing while traveling to and fro, no dropped signals.

Mine is 16gb white.

yes, I encountered the reception with 3G on is less than 1 bar or 2 most of the time.
But, when you off the 3G, it will shown full bar.

Even when the 3G is on and is only a bar or 2, i dont get disconnection n clear voice conversation.
so far, im trying to test without turning on 3G and screen dimmed. to see how long iphone battery can last.
