Double Stacker Riposte - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Preview

Well, well, the inevitable is finally here - the GeForce GTX 295 - NVIDIA's newest flagship and response to ATI's dual-GPU Radeon HD 4870 X2. Boasting two hybrid GTX 200-class GPUs, we take a quick look to get a feel of how quick this card will be:-

Did you manage to get temperatures of this card? Looks like a hot item to splurge on!

Edit: nvm you mentioned u will be getting a retail card for that

Hi Justin, we're testing the retail card with new drivers at the moment
We'll be putting out a full review with all the details by tomorrow night when the embargo lifts. The earlier article was a restricted preview.

But just to give you an idea, it's better than the 4870 X2 in every aspect, including temp/power

This will really trounce the 4870 X2, enough to jump from ATI to Nvidia. Sounds like power is sounding good. It'll draw from a 500W? What's the estimate it'll hit our shores by your perspective?

It should be available quite shortly
Probably within a week or thereabout.

The distributors are already pushing out some offers for the existing high-end NVIDIA cards, so that's a good supporting sign it will be here soon.
