thanks for the review. Notable mentions that was missed out though =(
Inbuilt Compass - best demoed with Google Street View
Trackball - only phone other than Blackberry to provide great usability experience with easy navigation
Background applications - apps can run on the background to provide full software solution like auto update, alerts when entering specific geolocation etc.
Dedicated camera button - best for self shots, no need to figure around for button on the screen
On screen keyboard available through ard party apps such as ChompSMS
Pattern unlocking on Android - security feature that is different from conventional 4 digit lock code

and... copy and paste!

Android ftw~

Hi chuazy,

Actually, this is kind of a preview, so we haven't fully explored the points that you mentioned. But yes, we'll be following up with a full review when we've given the Dream a more thorough run-through. For now, we can safely say that the Android OS will be something to look out for, and the Android Market is growing, so there's really a lot of room for development.

Cheers!

tein hee, I like the quirky way of presenting the broad differences between G1 and iPhone. But I cannot help but being distracted by your fast talking Singapore English video. Maybe you should consider to do it slower the next time. Cheers.

Hey Cpuer,

Yeah, I get that a lot, working on that to slow myself down. Job hazard, you know, working for an online media means we have to go at 120% speed (just kidding!).

But glad that you liked the presentation. There'll be more coming up, so stay tuned.
