ah ... not yet have performance... but is it confirm it will have 4 cores and 8 thread? i thought its only 4 cores and 4 thread?

IN Q1 2010. the new Core i7 lynnfield will have the 4core/8 thread

Yup, like Elijahonli pointed out, there are several Lynnfield variants.
I can't be sure yet if those are the exact specifics as pointed out by Elijahonli, but it's quite likely at this juncture. But surely there is a 4c/8t Lynnfield

Intel is really all out to confuse us all with branding names versus the technologies underneath. Sucky indeed.
