I learn to accept my N97..

1. Hang for unknown reason
2. Low memory
3. Camera slide open but nothing happen
4. Screen goes blank
5. SMS not received
6. Call aborted for unknown reason
7. Vibrate sometime work sometime not working
8..
9.....

The list can go on, but I learn from my mistake, this is going to be my last Nokia. I am waiting to go for Apple next killer iPhone.... Sometime X'mas I hope...

This (N97) shouldn't be a phone release to market in the first place... seem like a beta product... and they wanna be an iphone killer?? LOL... Wait long long...

I think you are the one looking defensive about what you said and worried about people replying by seeing at how agitated you are now. Maybe you should relax. I don't think anyone in this forum is crazy over N97. They have their rights to post replies, just like you. I have N97 and iPhone 3G, and there were occasions when I got angry over both the phones. No phone in this world is perfect, you just need to be like what you have set in this topic: "Learn to accept it", since you have already bought it. Have a night chat then.

please lor, i never fault anyone for complaining about phones, but calling people who put protection on their phones idiots is going a bit too far.....no two ways about it.

YOu may have a faulty one? So far I only encountered no. 11 out of your list

Other than that:

1. Hang for no reason: For me only widgets aka Facebook... this is kind of irritating.

I dunno why u guy's N97 got so much prob de. Mine's trouble-free, even with latest 11.0.021 firmware.

The only gripe i have is with Nimbuzz, where even on GPRS connection (including wifi), sometimes cannot receive msgs from my contacts.

My friend's iphone hung while there was an incoming call, the screen just stuck there and keeps vibrating.

The power button fails to off the phone and there is no way to take out the battery.

In the end, the phone finally off itself when the battery goes flat. Totally scary...

Haha that's the prob with built-in batts. But the iPhone should have a reset button or something cos my iPod can also reset.
