2 NSFs drinking on crowded train. No regards for ppl ard them

Saw 2 guys drinking bubble tea on the east bound train yesterday. They were holding a full cup of bubble tea and sucking till the last drop. As u can see.. the train is crowded.

As man in uniform, they are not setting good example. They have no idea that the uniform they are wearing symbolize our country.

"Men in uniform" is used to refer to men in uniformed organizations like the army, police, etc. In this case, the uniform is of the Singapore Armed Forces.

I agree with the above totally..

I personally find the MRT no foods/drinks rules stupid and ridiculous..

Rules are dead, human are alive..

How is sucking on a candy or taking a slip of water deem inappropriate and result in a fine.?

If i have to take a train from Boon lay to Changi airport..

1) I'm not allow to get thirsty at any point of time.???
2) I can't suck on a candy cause the world prefer people with bad breath walking around.???

I personally think that as long as you don't be a nuisance to the area that is sufficient enough..

1) Do not dirty the area
2) Do not pollute the air around you with strong aroma foods eg. Durian, chicken rice and such..

*Just when i thought "Certain" company was the only dumb around.. TS proved otherwise

Quoted for truth.
They're just putting the 8th core value of the SAF into practice.

On a more serious note, TS or the guy/girl who took the photo should have confronted the two servicemen if you or he/she feels so strongly about this behavior. Else, it's just typical stomper mentality. Hide, shoot and post...

No matter how unhappy u are or how rite u felt for the NSF, they are still doing the wrong thing. Rules are rules. they are meant to be follow.

So the rules never specifically say that I cannot deliberately spill a bottle of soft drink on the train right?

The rule only say that we are not allowed to eat and drink on the train right?

I get your point, if the rules never say that I cannot spill drinks on the train, then I can do so despite the fact that my common sense tells me that it is wrong to do so.

So people are just so dumb.
