How do you move off quickly after traffic light changes?

I have seen those taxi drivers moving off quickly after the traffic light changes, but how come when I try, and step on the accelerator pedal, alot of noise, but the car is still moving off slowly. Manual transmission.

You release ur clutch too slow. Must release fast, but make sure not too fast as it'll stall the engine.

If you want(but at the expense of clutch and tires), u can try doing a manual Launch Control. With clutch depressed, rev to a set amount of RPM and when the light turn green release the clutch immediately.

you mean release the clutch faster and at the same time, depress on the accelerator pedal more too?

a lot of noise because your clutch release too slow. dont think too much about stalling and it will help haha.

lol.. u noe how to drive manual properly anot?

juz when abt to turn green, clutch in, switch gear one, keep rpm at 3k or more

when green, let go clutch to bitting point, once u feel the car "fly forward" n catch the clutch, acc more until ur desired rpm, then switch to gear 2

i once do this until tyre screech on my Sunny.. shiok..

but dun keep doing la, later clutch will chui
