Buying 2nd hand honda city

I have some questions about honda city i-dsi and honda city vtec. Need opinions from u guys as i dont wanna get con =p.. Thx by the way im talking about the city b4 the current version of city..

1. For fuel consumption wise, which model will be better?
2. Whats the FC for both?
3. Maintenance n servicing wise, which 1 will be more exp?
4. For power, is it true that vtec wins i-dsi?
5. Which model will u go for ?

Read this

http://asia.vtec.net/Series/FitJazz/lseries/

I was also in a very similar position, as i was eyeing a Jazz.....

For power, Vtec over iDSI but iDSI has more torque at a very low rpm.

If you are worried about maintenance costs over both of them, you ain't ready to get a car. Use B.M.W
Basically iDSI uses twin sparkies while VTEC uses single spark plugs.

YOu should be able to satisfy your thirst for knowledge ( i know i did... ), after reading the article!

1. idsi
2. right foot is the most impt to the FC.. my kakis can go as low as 8km/l to 16km/l for vtec model.. idsi can easily go 18km/l or even better..
3. both are cheap.. parts easily available 3G and 4G share most of the parts. if not, can try parts from fit/jazz....
4. vtec of crs.. and also 'drink' petrol... if u wan it to be..
5. u the buyer, not us worr... power is also inverse proportional to FC

try registering a nick at SHC or cityzen.sg
all answers are there
