Accomodation available in perth

Hi guys, If theres anyone studying in UWA, i'm currently looking for 1 house mate as I have a room available in feb 2010.

The apartment is within 15 mins walking distance from UWA and has buses at regular intervals, town, and conveniences are a short distance away.
The room/house is furnished with all the necessities (i've been living there 2 years, so theres all i need to survive), the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful and theres a parking lot available.

my preferance is a male or female singaporean chinese, easy going and with a 1 year leash period minimum.
Theres no smoking in the apartment, but smokers are welcomed if they are willing to smoke outside.

Rent is at 180 AUD per week (price is negotiable depending on my circumstances)
Electricity, Water and internet are seperate.

you do realise this is PERTH right ? which is like across the other side of australia ?

rental prices are different in different states of Aus, 180 AUD is cheap for my location, rental prices are about 200 ++ now. the reason why mine is lower is because I started renting this place 2 years before and the owner is kind enough not to increase the rent

please do your research before you shoot your mouth off.

that is because perth has a housing shortage due to the 2007 mining boom, although now the boom has died off, housing is still in shortage.

2ndly my apartment is less then 5 minutes away from the city central by car, and 10 mins by bus. and also very close to UWA, not to mention UWA is located in a upscale housing district, therefore if you're interested in living close to campus you will expect very high rent.

ppl are even renting out garage for 90 per week

thats actually quite true, some of the higher priced apartments are renting out their living rooms for 100 or so a week

as for your question, Uwa usually takes 1-2 months to process your application after submission...
