Remind me of a history channel show I watched some time back.
A super volcano in Indonesia ish predicted to errupt within the next 2 thousands year, and if it does happen and errupt at full force, it may immediately davastate everything within a 1000km range. (ie Sinkapore 100% ganna hit) And the aftermath would affect not just the SEA region, but eventually destroy the climate of the whole world slowly over the next decade.
But there ish a 0.5% chance that it might errupt anytime now rather than wait for thousand year. However if it does happen earlier, the destruction would not be as bad than waiting for it to happen a thousand year later as the volcano would not be able to accumulate enough force for maximum destruction if errupt earlier.
0.5% may seem very small, but still a chance. I wonder whether it might finally happen by 2012 with all the sudden frequency of major earth quake...

KNN, I would rather Singapore be destroyed than to destroy the whole world later in thousand years Humanity rules.
