HDB resale flats - sold back to HDB

I've seen some flat there are sold back to HDB due t various reason from the previous owner.

its over at the main HDB website.

If i own a private property, can i buy it? seems dirt cheap to me, some 4 room are only 200+k !

give chances to those that need a house.

200k+ might look dirt cheap to you but be more sensitive to others

From what I remember, you can only buy 30 months after you have disposed of your private property. Link here.

Actually for resale, you can buy, but I think you need to move into the HDB unit and fulfill the 2 and half years minimum occupation period...

HDB do not sell "RESALE FLAT".

It's called "REPOSSESSED FLAT".

The rules and regulation is exactly the same for these so called "REPOSSESSED FLAT" if you compare them to "BRAND NEW FLAT".

TS should go compete with the FTs (Flat Takers) for resale units at "affordable prices" instead of depriving the needy peons of a dirt cheap roof

Dont blame TS for any failure in the system or rule.

Private property owners cannot buy direct from HDB until after 2.5 years of disposing their private properties, unless they go for resale flats.

Haizzz..

The current lottery system might have enable pple like TS a way of competing for these RP units.. thus lowering the chance for those who truely needs it..

haizzz... sad..
