LG Open Box Monitor Clearance Nov 2009
Now and then, our customers return monitors to us, for many reasons.
a) Order wrongly, return after realize that the monitor don't fit (most often)
b) Customer cannot pay, so we take back goods
c) Our dealers' customers cannot pay, so they take back goods and return to us
d) Minor pixel issue
e) Monitor discontinued and we left with a few pieces.
These monitors may be open box or closed box. Some which look like not open before, because we did not have the monitors under our control, even those unopened boxes, as a policy, we dare not sell as retail or as new.
These monitors we accumulated for a while, and now we are offering to HWZ forummers FIRST PICK of what they want. The pricing has been marked down as fair. As far as we know, the monitors are working condition by random testing by us.
The offer:
1) The following monitors below are offered to HWZ forummers for a limited time.
2) First to come to pick up, first served.
3) Goods are sold AS IS. Dead Pixel is exactly same as standard policy for new LG monitor - More than 2 dead/bright pixels for 1st year, More than 3 dead/bright pixels for 2nd and 3rd year
4) Dead on arrival goods - monitors which spoil - will be refunded.
5) I will update this page periodically. There may be cases where the monitor is listed here but somebody already bought it. There may also be several monitors per listing here.
6) Convergent reserves the right to change the price and withdraw the offer at any time, without prior notification here or otherwise.
7) Please excuse any errors in these posts.
Pretesting:
1) You can pretest ONLY IF Convergent staff have time to help you do it at the time of purchase. Bring your notebook computer if you have you your own preferences. Edit: it is unlikely that we will get to test the monitor pre-purchase, however, see point #2.
2) If we don't have time, you can pick it up first and if there is dead on arrival we will allow the refund.
The Warranty:
1) All monitors sold here have a fresh warranty card with it.
2) The warranty card will entitle you to repair or replacement, the decision wholly up to LG Service Centre
3) 3 year warranty as per normal LG stock.
