Back to the old school - MSI 9500GT NITROGEN-ED!

hello guys!

lately, we had the MSI Afterburner online OC competition on guru3d.com. This competition is to find who has the card that can oc the most in terms of percentage.

I picked up a gt210 to test out but had big issues mounting the ln2 pot so switched to the old 9500gt where i could get a proper mount.

In the end, tested the 9500gt and kena cold bug at -30 to -40 degress celcius. really bad cold bug that i asked msi to fix but takes time i guess. cant compare to the cold bug-less 275 lightning.

so i did cap mods and the usual vgpu mod which i figured out myself.

so in the end, i was running 1220mhz core for furmark 1.7.0 for 600s to test stability (this is a competition requirement). default is 550mhz.

that would be an increase of 121.81% from default clocks.

Thanks to MSI for the bench table too

Dont mind me... my msi board isnt in yet

and comes with its own power button and restart button! only thing missing is a small speaker for the beep

nevertheless, i like my new bench table a lot! Good stuff!

haha the bench top looks simple guys. but weighs at least 2 to 4kg and is about 30 to 40 cm in length.

and it took me about 15 to 20 mins to fix it. not that easy. but it's a good table and very adjustable
