GTX 275 LIGHTNING Revisited + Gigabyte X58 UD9 ACTION!

Hello guys, today i had some time and some energy recovering from flu so i decided to take some ln2 and give the X58A UD9 of mine a test. And since the 275 Lightning i have still had its pot and mods on. i decided to go for worlds fastest 275 for 3dmark06. so i did..

used about 20L of LN2. This combo drinks LN2 like nothing especially running tests. Took about 3 hours.

I was running CPU at about -100. and GPU at -150.

Rig Spec:
Core i7 980X ES B1
Gigabyte X58A UD9 Rev 0.2
Gskill Trident 2000Mhz CL9 3x2GB
MSI GTS 275 Lightning
Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W
Seagate 500GB 7200.10

I must say the UD9 is definitely an improvement over the UD7. above 5800mhz, the ud7 was having issues coping with the load and the current etc, but the ud9 could do it with ALL cores and threads ENABLED!

I didnt push all the way as today rained heavily and the system couldnt take the humidity. Will push 2d again another time and when the 5870 SOC is ready and modded.

The system overall felt more stable and had a little better performance. I cannot comment much as the bios is also very new and just out of ES stage. i used version F1.

The 980X ES is handling ok though i havent yet pushed for 6ghz super pi. those 6.4ghz ES A0 steppings are definitely out of reach for this stepping.

tridents are doing ok. running up to 21xxmhz at low latencies of CL 7-9-7-24 and 1T cmd rate. They were also doing 72 trfc most of the time. All this with just 1.7v.

Overall, the UD9 has become my new favourite board and i will continue to spend more time with it soon

Ended of with current fastest GTX 275 in the world for 3dmark06

You are asking someone experienced in that, what do you think? Btw, its LN, not readily combustible like LO or acetylene.

I have got mapp gas and others, does that make it more dangerous than LN2?
