Xperia Z Sony logo baked into screen protector rather than its display? | Xperia Blog

Seems the Sony Logo is again printed on the shatter proof screen protector rather than on the glass.. same as the Xperia V.

IDC says Sony sold 9.8 million smartphones in Q4; now ranks in fourth place | Xperia Blog

and Sony mobile is indeed going strong!

Hi Sid,

appreciate if you can provide a comprehensive review.

May i request you compare the following as well
a) volume / sound quality from the 3.5mm output.
i have tested S3 previously and it puts me off with the volume. it totally get pwn by my iphone4. i hope the sound from a sony is at least on par with a iphone4

b) video. can you put a 2 gb video and play it without lag?

c) any lag? in what scenario you get a lag on this fone.
Hi Rambu_Tan,

I will update you again once I have the final review unit .

Right now, what I have been using is the prototype. Therefore, results & performance may not be the same as the finalized unit.

Theres a saying 'silence is golden'.

A word of caution, ear phone is for your OWN pleasure. Please dont share with your surroundings customer.
Yes, I agreed to that. We need considerate people, especially those who talk loudly with their phone in public place, while others are stuck with them on the same bus/train.

What? Got good music better to share using earphones then blasting the speaker. :p
I hate it when Im listening to music with my earphones, while I still hear some jokers blasting their music through their ear/headphones. OMFG!

So no need for screen protector liao?

That is one of the many reasons I got a TX.

Its this distinctive logo that separates itself from GX and the rest of the Sony phones.

I think it's nice though, good for those who want a blank front. As for the others, most would apply some other screen protector on top anyway, protecting the shatterproof layer with the logo.

If Sony put the Sony branding at the bottom and will light up, it will look like their bravia and look really chio

Well, there may be certain worries but its not all without good reason.

Imagine you bought your new Xperia Z, you find the Sony logo not in line or a bit off the sides, you will understand why it may be a bad idea to put logo on the shatter-proof screen protector.

Xperia Z connects to a PlayStation controller, hard drive and more!

Not sure if this has been posted yet. But here's some of the peripherals the Xperia Z can connect to!

The Xperia Z is already a beast in terms of specs. We've found out that the phone can connect to various peripherals that may come in handy. Check out the video by CloveTechnology on what cool peripherals the phone can connect to:

Sony Xperia Z Connectivity Demo - YouTube

Playing games with a PlayStation controller, transfer files between your hard drive and phone, navigate the phone with a keyboard and mouse, share your content via mhl to a HD TV. The Xperia Z is working out to be a media powerhouse. What do you think about all these features the Xperia Z can support?

Check the rest of Xperia out at: Know Your Xperia

(a new initiative for Xperia users to understand more about their devices) Cheers! =D
