i guess is becos of the current app tat cos it out of memory.

jus to let u knw tat ICS wil use more memory, thus might be out of memory at times. so u hav to change habit of havin more widget or apps.

I just use opera mini to access hwz forums for few minutes after phone restart - still got reboot immediately

I just uninstalled flash + some apps not in use... will monitor if I still get auto reboot

mayb u could use other browser instead, like dolphin, maxthon, boat.

u can also to to settings -> apps -> running services, to c which one consumes more memory.

are there a lot of problems after updating to ICS? I have yet to update to ICS, and i'm still contemplating the pros/cons of ICS.

my arc s now I treak till it ram remain at 100++ even on use opera mini
quite stable now
even on reboot my force disable those appls don't use ot will stick to it

more faster to use liao
ics need more ram to run stable actually
but dualcore and 1gb is the best remedy lor
like on the nexus

I try 3 ICS rom. Default from SE and 2 custom roms. Really cannot make it, not smooth even when I use rom with very few apps and turn off all animations.

Change back to GB, stock rom, remove some bloatwares and install my favourite launcher and apps. Buttery smooth and fast.

ICS is a failure if it needs high spec to run normal day to day apps smoothly. Don't care if it utilise more ram or what, GB use less ram yet can be much smoother, meaning more effective management. Newer doesn't mean better. Wait till ICS gets mature, better performance then I move over.

thanks. What you say just reinforces my belief that i shouldn't upgrade to ICS for the time being, esp since the ram of the ray isn't fantastic.
