Any tutorial for rooting without unlocking bootloader?

Vroot or 360root (described here) are Chinese programs that root the phone, but will install a Chinese version of Superuser.

If you prefer the English version of SuperSU to be installed, you can try Root Android phone, flash custom ROM and manage your Android devices, Rooting Freeware Download - Kingo

I wonder you can uninstall the Super User then install the English version later.

Z1 vs S4

1. Z1 Relatively new. S5 coming out in Feb 2014.
2. STAMINA Mode seems like one of the good things about this phone, can prevent unnecessary data & battery usage by apps that track.
3. Waterproofing. Not really a useful feature to have, but why not?
4. I hear less overheat issues compared to S4.
5. The docking charger can be really useful.
6. Build quality better. Looks beautiful too.
7. Processor speed faster.
8. Battery size.

Cons:
1. Screen not as vivid as compared to the S4.
2. Larger in size.
3. Viewing angles.
4. No multi window.
5. No gorilla glass.

I don't really use the camera.

stamina mode really works? cause S4 has the snapdragon app which also can save battery

If you really prefer samsung and can wait then wait for S5. Currently, I feel that Z1 is a better option as it is half a year more newer than S4 and HTC One. Screen is better than S4 when viewed straight on. I suppose it is better in the sunlight as well. Sony did not mention what glass they used, but from xperia Z, they might be using a combination of Gorilla glass and Dragontrail.

must be careful with the water... I've been washing my XZ and apparently with too much water the power button side would kinda malfunction. must knock the water out then can function properly lol
