Hi all,

Will a normal SC savings account be ok to do trades rather than the shares settlement account?

Thanks.

If u want to do trade, need to open Settlement acct in person at any sc branch. N since u r there, just opt to open all currencies to save you futher trips.

anyone know how to transfer shares to cdp? what to do?

1) login to SCB online trading on your computer
2) at the top is a "online forms" button
3) click on share transfer, and complete the form
4) check how much the transfer fee would be (https://av.sc.com/sg/content/docs/sg-fees-schedule.pdf, page 4), and ensure there is sufficent balance in your trading settlement account
5) wait patiently. If no updates within 3 weeks, call SCB

How will HK dividends be paid? Will it be in full and into my HK account or I have to check somewhere?

Possible to buy bonds listed on SGX via SCB online trading? For IPO bonds purchased through banks, when the bonds are issued, where to see them?

Need advice.

I tried to buy BTOU just now but I got this message:
Order Rejected. Account=XXXXXXX Stock=BTOU. Reason=We are not able to process your order because buying for this counter has been suspended.

I have enough in my USD settlement account. Any idea why?

*Update

Called the hotline and was told that BTOU is suspended on SCB so won't be able to buy this counter at all.
And such information isn't available at all...

I checked my Hong Kong account. I did not receive the dividend although supposed to be paid on 7th June.

Has anyone not received dividend in hk account before?

I was in your situation too. Losed money even before you start buying and SCB did not provide info on this counter not being available.

Made some gains on my usd settlement account.

Other than the brokerage charge of 0.25% when u sell the counters, anyone know roughly how much % u need to factor in for forex losses when you convert the earnings back into sgd for your scb bank acct?
