If you think interest rates will rise, it'll benefit banks stocks

Interest rate hike is not good for debt. More company will bankrupt.

BlackRock cuts fees and jobs; stockpicking goes high-tech
29 Mar 2017 09:13
[NEW YORK] BlackRock Inc on Tuesday said it would overhaul its actively managed equities business, cutting jobs, dropping fees and relying more on computers to pick stocks in a move that highlights how difficult it has become for humans to beat the market.

………IMHO, the writing is on the wall……...

It's already happening in some banks. My bro who is working as a forex trader for a foreign bank told me banking jobs is not going to pay as much as it used to be. Only a handful will be employed as most will be using computers to execute trades for the banks instead of using manpower to do it.

This will in return be very advantageous for the banks as employees will be cut, hence operating cash flow enhances due to lower salaries outflow. Therefore I don't really know why you want to cut your bank shares in your portfolio as I believed this is the time to accumulate and hold on to it instead.

Lesser employees but improve efficiency sound good to me.
