That would be a major blow to TPG investors. I really suspect TPG will end up strike a deal with one of the existing telco to leverage on the infra.

Cheaper, more breathing spaces for them to balance their finance and get things going quick (especially reception in MRT). Noone want to sign a plan that doesn't have reception in MRT.

i dun think thats the case, they are supposed to build their own infra right?

you can't build a 4g network with $300m

tpg may have underestimated the cost of building the network as it is a virtual telco in australia

now it calculate need billions may give up

imda can forfeit up to $105m of the bank guarantee if tpg didn't pay up by 20 business day from 14 dec 2016 which is 13 jan 17 which is tomorrow :eek:

i think tpg after evaluating the cost of deployment and difficulties in recruitment may have consulted with imda to return the provisional spectrum

imda may forfeit a portion of the $105m bank guarantee and decide a 4th telco is not financial viable due to the huge investment needed to build the base station and encourage virtual telcos instead like circles life

Analyst are funny people, DBS is the funniest imo, few weeks ago analyst analyse telco until like end of the world, now give TP 2.45, 2.6 etc.. :s22: Wind blow where, boat go where

i think will soon lead to merger so can cut cost and raise margins
