We can just hold and wait while they buy over our holdings at offer price and collect the past dividends which they owe + dividends till they buy over right?

They don’t hedge Indian rupee so best not to buy if not vested
The payout is fixed in Indian rupee
Then convert to sgd
Not good for minorities
Cos sgd gaining strength

That's right.

Please also note, the reference rate had already been set at INR 52.99 or the rate one day before completion of deal. Whichever is better. If you already own RHT shares, just hold. If you do not, your money you decide.

This one only for the 72 cent, right? If the exchange rate keep losing, after returning 72 cent no more money left. Can happen or not?

No, not the case! This reference rate means it's fixed. Won't get worst, only can get better if rate improved.

To sum up what shareholders will be getting:

1. Special dividend: about 70 odd cents.

2. DPU for two full quarters ( Apr to Sep 18).

3. Pro-rated DPU for final quarter (Oct 18 till deal closed date, which is
expected to be sometime in Dec 18 or earlier).

4. Return of retention sum of about 3.6 cents (after less expenditures which
is capped at not more than 10% of the sum retained). This is provided no
new assets are injected into trust to retain the listing and Trust delisted as
required in about a year's time.

After deal closed, the Trust is given about 6 months to look for news assets. If after 6 months and they are still unable to do so, they will have to start the delisiting procedure. This delisiting has to be completed in 6 months. Hence, the one year time frame.

Hi

If I am holding at $0.87 per share, is it advisable to buy in more now before rht delist so as to average it down to $0.766 and reduce losses?

It's all depend on how much you are holding. No point, if need to spend huge sum to average down. Think of the opportunity cost.

Special dividend will come in around Jan 19 and the final payment of about 3.6 cents (retained sum), much later.

This is my take. Any expert care to share?
