I got the one at challenger for 89? It has 2 usb ports 1 Ethernet 1 HDMI and you can plug in your usb charger to it for power delivery. Works quite well.

Connectivity is typically a problem for a hybrid like this. You will definitely need to get an adapter. I got mine from Lazada which gives me 1 USB 3.0, 1 HDMI and 1 USB Type C charging port for around 15 bucks. Even on the MS Surface Pro 4, you will also need an adapter to convert the Display Port to HDMI.

It depends on which country you bought. In Singapore, ships with Active Pen only. Active Pen 2 need to order separately to oversea.

But in Europe, it comes with the device in the box.

Seems like mine came with older pen.

I saw the ones at Challenger and find the price too challenging for my wallet. That's why I purchased mine from Lazada and it works well too for less than 20% of the price in Challenger.

Ya, I don't understand why units selling in Singapore comes with Active Pen only and not Active Pen 2. In Europe, it is comes with Active Pen 2 and price is more cheaper than SG.

Previously I was considering the older Acer Switch 12 before I decided to just go with this Miix 720. What I like about the Switch 12 is the fanless liquid cooling which seems to work well to keep the CPU cooled. Acer Switch 5 was nowhere in sight at that time.

So far I am liking the Miix 720. Only complain is the lack of USB ports, which is normal for a Hybrid.

I've just gotten the 720 for a few days, here are some first impressions. Like many others, i deliberated over a few models (Surface Pro, HP Elite x 1 1012 G2, Asus Transformer Pro 3, Acer Switch etc) before I eventually decided on the Miix 720.

1. Finger print magnet
The screen and keyboard gets fingerprints all over quite easily, not a deal breaker but if you are very particular about how clean your device is, this might be an issue.

2. Fan/heat
Mine's the i7 version /16gb/1TB, noticed that the unit heats up quite fast after some light usage. In a quiet room, you can heard the fan noise if it's really quiet.

3. Battery life
I've not completed drained this fella yet because i'm working more in the office these few weeks. But as of now as I type this post, my battery drain went down quite dramatically from 79% to 74% (2hr 14min left) . My screen is at 30% brightness, backlit keyboard on. I'll monitor and feedback more when i get to use this out in the field.

4. Keyboard
I'm quite used to typing on full sized keyboards and am now trying to adapt to this keyboard layout. The feel is great and I can type quite ok with it BUT the right shift key is really hard for me to use (ok ok, i've fat fingers!). Ladies might be able to adapt to this keyboard better, all i can do for now is to train my left hand to use the shift key.

5. Accessories
It's a nightmare for me trying to find the accessories for this device.
Screen protector ? Nope.
Cover/case protector ? Nope.
3rd party chargers ? Just found a Xiaomi one that I might order soon or just get the original Lenovo charger.
Docking station ? In theory the USB C docking station should work with the 720 but in the compability guide, it's not supported. Have dropped by the service center today to ask about it, a product specialist should be in touch with me and I'll update here once i have the information.

6. Pen
Am loving the pen ! After all, that's what this baby is all about, isn't it ? My package came with the pen, i do not know if it's version 1 or version 2 but i suspect i do not need the 2nd version as i use this for taking notes , commenting on PDF etc.

7. Weight
I cannot really compare on this; to me this is very light compared to my previous HP Zbook 15 (almost 3kg) so you might find the Miix720 the same or heavier if you are already using a ultrabook.

Quick update :

My kids are using the HP Pavilion x2 Detachable 10-P013TU and the charger can charge my 720. The weird thing is that my 720 charger does not work on their Pavilion x 2. It will show power plugged in but not charging.

For some certain HP models, they don't allow non HP to avoid potential accidents.

I agree that it is a finger print magnet, especially with the glossy front screen.
The fan does spin up with light usage and at full speed, I think the max temp it recorded was around 86 to 89 degs. I think it is probably common for a thin hybrid.
Battery is somewhat erratic. Based on my observation over few months of usage, the battery at times drop very slowly, while sometimes it will deplete quite fast. For example, I was using it for like 30 mins surfing net and listening to music at about 30% volume, the battery only dropped about 5%. However today when I used it just for surfing net and while it is not fully charged from previous usage, it dropped from 95% to about 78% in 30 mins or slightly longer.
Accessories wise, it is true that you can't find things like screen protector. I got one for Miix 520 and it is slightly wider, just very slightly because its 12 vs 12.2 inches. Charger wise, most USB Type C charger supplies only 15W of power to the device, so there may not be sufficient power being supplied to it. I am using a Choetech Type C charger on my 720, but it is slowly losing power. I managed to get a Type C USB 3.1 to HDMI Adapter Charging Port from Lazada for below 20 bucks and it works great.
