As per subject, not sure anyone is eyeing this tablet? Specs are pretty up to date with a Thunderbolt 3 USB Type C, USB 3.0 and 2.0 connection.

First review.

Some issues with the cooling with the pre-production unit. Hope they fix it in the actual release.

If the software is bloatware free then it can definitely compete both specs and price wise.

From a visual perspective, I don't really like the "hinge" design.

I am skeptical that it is bloat ware free. Most laptops from the usual big brands have quite a fair bit of "extra" application installed. Unless you are looking at those Windows Signature versions. It's only a matter of how much bloatware have they installed.

got this over the surface pro or wait for galaxy book to be launched. didnt regret it. main issue would be the connectivity since i do not have a hdmi port. but other than that, battery life is great, much better than the surface pro.

Hi Bro, I'm now at the junction of Miix 720 and Surface Pro 4 to choose. I'm currently using Surface Pro 4 which is issued by my company so somehow I got an idea about surface but for Miix, I have no idea. And the product is still new, so there is not much review or comparison between these 2 models.

Since you have using Miix for about 5 days (from your post), could you kindly let us know your personal review? like at least what are good and what are not base on your personal view.

Thanks in advance.

apologies. got this at the it fair for 1.7k+ been good. outlasted a colleague's pro 4. pen is slightly hit and miss. i liked the stylus like samsung phones, but since it is sized like a normal pen, holding it has been comfortable.

rather good. prefer this to the surface 4 that i tried out. ports are definitely better than the surface pro

Thank you bro. I bought yesterday night for my daughter's use. I will make some comparison with Surface Pro 4 during this weekend and share later.

One of the consideration why I bought the Miix 720 is because of the Active Pen 2 capability that they described in their product page. But after I bought, the Pen comes along with the tablet is only Pen 1. So I make a inquiry about this matter with the store I buy and show them it is mention on their product page that is Pen 2. So the store said they will verify with Lenovo and today I received a call and saying me that is the typo on their page, actually they will give only Pen 1. After the call, I check on their product page, they change back to Pen 1 which I regret that I didn't take any screen shots. I feel like I get cheated by them.

Other region received with active pen 2.

Hachi.tech (S$1,899.00 with some free gift) or wait for Courts' Megatex from 1st to 3rd July. Buy at Megatex can expect to get around $1700 with free gift from Lenovo. (Microsoft Office 365P, 2nd year Carry in warranty, 1st year Carry in ADP)
