Now selling at $998 ($700 off) at Comex, although published as student price, was told that anyone can buy at that price.

I read review surface pro more power than samsung tab s pro.. Also the samsung pen is not active pen but capacitative pen, less accurate than surface n trig pen.. Initially want to hoot one at 998 but decided not to.. Will continue to use my surface pro 3..

of cause sp4 more power cause they have a range of specs whereas tps only 1 specs which is m3, 4gb..128SSD (which is same as sp4 base model)... and if you do price compare.. sp4 base model 1399 w/o kb... tps is going @ 998 w kb..

it's a pity the tab pro s does not come with a sd card slot.
128GB is really too little
