Both 16 and 64GB of Mi Pad 2 no local warranty. Just shop warranty by seller. Only the Mi Pad 1 16GB had local warranty. Was a good tablet until I upgraded to Tab S2 8.0.

Mipad 2 in windows is unbearably slow. Convert it to android is much better.

Any suggestion where can I get Mipad1 covers locally? Something like this

I know it will be cheaper to get from taobao, but I find it a slight hassle to just get 1 item nia...

Hi guys. I have an old mipad which has a display problem where the top and bottom right corners are stuck at max brightness and the zones are painful to touch after awhile.

I thought it was a digitizer problem so I bought a replacement from aliexpress then went thru a difficult repair process, hardest parts were removing the battery and the old digitizer which were both glued hard.

But after finally replacing the digitizer, the same problem persists. This meant it's not a digitizer issue but rather the board sending wrong signal to the digitizer.

I dun think I can buy a replacement compute board for the mi pad off aliexpress? Couldn't find it.

GG? Wasted $58 buying the replacement digitizer.
