Which External HDD to get?

sigh... where the Hitachi ones... :s12:

Voltage specs is all the same for all 3.5" HDD. There isn't any issues with the voltage.

Hitachi part of it or fully eaten by WD (iirc) but they retain the name. So u should be able to find Hitachi HDD.

Looking for portable hard disk for my macBook, type C USB. Beside G-technology, any other brand come with type-C?

seagate local warranty on amazon. wd no idea.

Not worth it. The saving of sgd30+ does not worth it.

You lost
1) local warranty for 3 years (less hassle for RMA)
2) freebies from IT show (e.g. 4TB gives free pouch and free power bank)
3) free data recovery service.
