Hi, I'm thinking of taking up course and registering 2mr. Will be taking F4 - F8 though, are the books and kits that you guys are selling here the same edition being used?

its not the same edition, it is previous editions, but they are in the same areas of accounting etc

I have 3.1 (P7) FTC handouts, Kaplan Study Text 2006/07 (book) and Kaplan Exam Kit 2006/07 (book).

Both books in gd condition coz barely touch, no enough time to revise last time ha ha. If anyone needs just let me know.

For ACCA F8, is it alright to use any audit textbook? I heard NTU is even using an american text.

Basically they is no variant for F8 audit and the option audit paper. But i wouldn't advise u on any audit text as ACCA just recently changed their syllabus. If u attend classes, just stick to ur audit notes for F8 is enough.

will i be safe using the dec 2007 audit text for acca? it's the new syllabus. But i heard there's IAS 1 which changed a few things.

not safe for a certain number of modules, especially subjects like auditing due to constant changing of rules & regulations.

if u read the Student Accountant article carefully on the new IAS 1, these changes will be examinable from 2009 exams onwards. For me, I am always very comfortable with Folks Lynch texts.
