Day 1
Finally got a chance to visit Bangkok for a few days. Main purpose of this trip was to go for makan and some sightseeing. The below pictures are that of the departure hall rather than the arrival hall as I did not take any pictures due to camera in my bag. ![]() ![]() Their MRT is very clean and cool, in fact I find it cleaner than ours and definitely much cooler in the train cabins. They have at least one attendant on each side of the platform to handle the human traffic. ![]() ![]() ![]() Their BRT (Bus Rapid Transits) which is a bus service running on a partial dedicated lane so you won't have traffic jam most of the time and allows the bus to run smoothly. Same here, they have at least one attendant on each side of the platform to handle the human traffic. ![]() |

This Paus and ManTou are steaming in their containers.
![]() Pink colour fried Bee Hoon ![]() This Roast Chicken cost only 109 baht which is S$4.50 for a large chicken. This was also our first meal in Bangkok, OK, just a snack. ![]() ![]() They also got many flavours of Lay potato chips not seen here, this one is BBQ Pork I think. ![]() |

Usually hotels' dim sum cannot make it but not these, the Siew Mai has got pieces of prawns inside and they use real crab leg not some imitation crabstick.
![]() ![]() ![]() How can one not drink the Tom Yam Soup when in Thailand? They have got two version, one non spicy and the spicy one. Of course we opted for the spicy version below. The soup has a smooth taste to it, just the right combination of spiciness and sourness from the chilli pepper, lemon grass, lime juice, fish sauce and of course other spices. ![]() ![]() |
