Windows 10 OS
i bought my online copy from US Microsoft website. It is cheaper compare to buying it from SG Microsoft website. So far i have installed and activated it without any problems. I even bought Office during their black friday sale last year.
I bought the pro version at USD$199 and chose the download option. Paid using PayPal but forgot whether I used a US or Singapore address. Got it somewhere in March and so far so good.

Why is SG Microsoft ($229) selling more expensive than those at SLS (around $150)?

Microsoft is retail business sell products according to retail price.
Likewise Telco sell handsets as retail price.

SLS shops get the products from 3rd party, middleman.
As middleman business deal with shops not consumer.
Middleman source from parallel importers.
Parallel importers are big business bypass manufacturer distributor.

Nowadays many products are source this way.
Hence these products are cheaper than retailer.

if you have any Genuine Windows 7, Windows 8.0, Windows 8.1 Keys, it can be use to activate Windows 10, don't need waste money to buy Windows 10 License Key.

You need minimum Windows 10 Version 1511 and above to be able to activate with Windows 7+ licence Key.

Retail come with DVD and MS logo with copyright.
Allow up to 4 computer but need to transfer the licence.

OEM has no disc.
Provide link to download.
Product Key for one computer only.
Risk is there but minor..

Went to Sim Lim, Challenger, and all are selling OEM type. It comes with DVD in an envelope. Think Singapore not selling the retail version. Microsoft SG is really behaving like the SG way, squeezing us to make money for themselves.

Anyone going to US, maybe we can mass order the retail version. Or anyone knows where to get the retail version in Singapore?

Please do not get the retail. I spent $500+ for XP SP2 retail. The DVD disc still glitters. But what's the use of having a retail Windows XP now ?
