I wonder why the size of the capacitive buttons didn't increase.. Doesn't seem proportionate?

Hi

Cant remember off hand, will GDR3 be found directly inside Nokia 1520?

ie so if NOKIA HK launch by Nov 15....SG "technically" speaking should be also around this time....

if so, then confirm by then - launch of Nokia 1520 , we also will have the "official update GDR3 " for the rest of nokia phones ya?

Presale date for Hong Kong is on November 15, at a price of HK $5,998 (959 SGD).
Color: White, Black, Yellow.

Waiting for them to announce the launch date for SG...
They're SO BIG!!!

Yah, 1520/1320 will come with Update 3 + Nokia Black.

1020/920 should get it in Dec. The rest maybe in Jan 2014.

I think Nokia said on the event that Nokia black is coming early next year for the rest of the Lumia series . So don't keep you hopes too high up though .

Maybe, but I'm thinking Nokia should have Black almost ready, that's why they can have those Refocus app & stuff like that.

If they make available 1520/1320 in late November or early Dec, Singapore may be first few countries to get Black around New Year 2014.

Based on this time schedule, WP8.1 pre-release should already be available to OEM. That's why 2 months back got leaked 920 with early version of 8.1

Nokia Lumia 1520 launch officially in Hong Kong and Vietnam

Nokia Lumia 1520 launch officially in Hong Kong and Vietnam | WMPoweruser

Nokia’s new flagship, the Nokia Lumia 1520, has had a formal launch in Hong Kong and Vietnam.

Win8China reports the Chinese launch took place in Hong Kong where the handset was priced at HK $ 5,998 ($775), slightly cheaper than the Chinese price of 4,999 Yuan. The handset can be reserved now and should hit the market in only 2 weeks, on the 15th November in Yellow, White and Black.

USDSGD = 1.2425,
so , $775*1.2425 = SGD $963 roughly

1520... The one thing that's stopping me from really "trying" Xperia Z Ultra from day to day is its camera.
No way I'm moving back, from 1020's SLR-like camera to one that's only good for Instagram.

I'm only using it for reverse engineering purpose right now Its also my one and only android test device.

--------------------

The waiting game continues Considering to finally ditch SingTel for StarHub and get this beast on contract..
I think I'm okay with the drop to 3GB data, as long as the pricing remains at S$5 per GB.

To be fair, Xperia Z Ultra is good ... but of course, Camera really sucky lah. Nothing beats 41mp.

I don't think there is a need to increase button size. The only worry I have is how to handle the phone in the pocket..
