Anyone owning a RMN3 tried putting a 64gb sd card before?

I tried and it works. You have to format to FAT32, not exFAT format. MIUI does not support the exFAT format that 64gb microsd cards comes with.

I assume 128gb cards may work if its formatted to FAT32. Gotta try it out when I get one.

That's good news to share.

There's 2 gripes about FAT32 format.
You cannot transfer files bigger than 4gb to the SD card.
You need a 3rd party program to format the SD card as windows natively only support FAT32 up to 32GB drives.

Can buy s7 at $350(after claim) vs redmi note 3 at $299(cannot claim because China product).

Which one more worth ah?

Sent from your gf nene pork using GAGT

If $350 for s7 (no contract), of course s7 loh.

Even better idea. Get s7 for $350. Sell away for 800+ and buy redmi note 3 with the profit. Free is best.

Its so funny to compare these 2 phones side by side in the first place.

Will the Redmi Note 3 get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update?

Dont get your hopes up. Xiaomi is focused on updating KitKat devices to Lollipop or Marshmallow. Redmi Note 3 is probably stuck with Lollipop until early next year.
